Tandoori Bagel Bites

Tandoori Bagel Bites
Ingredients
  • 5 plain bagels
  • 1 Saffron Road Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce
  • ¼ medium onion, chopped finely
  • ½ cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms
  • ½ green pepper, chopped finely
  • ½ red pepper, chopped finely
  • ½ yellow pepper, chopped finely
  • Grated monterey jack cheese
  • dried oregano (to sprinkle on cheese)
Instructions
  1. Add all chopped vegetables (peppers, onion and mushrooms) and Saffron Road's Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce in a frying pan and keep on medium to low heat for approx 5 minutes. *you can use any vegetables of choice and even add minced meat or chicken pieces in this
  2. In the mean time pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Cut bagels in half and place face side up on cookie sheet. Top with Saffron Road Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce and vegetables and sprinkle with cheese and a dash of dried oregano. (in the picture, we have shown these tandoori bagel bites baked with and with out cheese) Bake in oven for approx 15 minutes or until cheese is melted to your liking.
  4. Remove from oven and enjoy!
