Dark Chocolate Chickpea Bark
Dark Chocolate Chickpea Bark
Serves: 24 pieces
  • 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup Saffron Road’s Crunchy Chickpeas, sea salt
  • ½ cup sour cherries, chopped
  • ½ cup raw pistachios, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger, ground
  • Water
  1. Fill two inches of water in a medium saucepan and place a glass bowl on top. Heat on medium and fill bowl with chocolate. Stir occasionally as chocolate gradually melts.
  2. Meanwhile, line a shallow baking sheet with parchment paper or cling wrap. Once chocolate has melted, stir in cinnamon and ginger until well combined.
  3. Pour chocolate over baking sheet and spread evenly with a rubber spatula. While chocolate is still soft, top with chickpeas, sour cherries and pistachios.
  4. Cool in the fridge until chocolate has set. About 20 minutes. Break and serve at room temperature.
