For many years now, Saffron Road Motorcycle Tours has been donating a percentage of its profits to humanitarian projects. Some of the people and facilities we have helped in the past include orphanages, hospitals, schools, small business set-ups and tsunami survivors in

Sri Lanka

and South India.

Now the motorcycle experience of your life, can become simply, a life for somebody else.

Some of the charities and humanitarian projects we will be supporting in the future include: Sewa Kendra Leprosy Relief – Nepal; the Hayden Hall Humanitarian Project, an orphanage and a sanctuary for homeless children, all in Darjeeling, India; Dr Graham’s School & Homes in Kalimpong, India; Cambodian Charitable Trust, and various projects in Tibet (to be confirmed in May 2012).

‘WHEELS WITHIN WHEELS’ CHARITY RIDES

This 14-day motorcycle ride through the Nepal Himalaya will raise money for the Sewa Kendra Leprosy Relief project and associated charity, Promise Nepal.

The ride will bring in much needed funding for critical services and also go a long way to alleviating suffering, improving patients’ quality of life, restoring dignity, providing income-producing opportunities and helping people rejoin society.
